Properly hydrating your body is key to losing weight, because when you are properly hydrated you will not be as hungry.

Another thing you can do is eliminate any form of junk food from your diet. Most junk food is really high in calories and low in nutrients. It does not do any good for your body and eating it will only hinder your weight loss progress. Instead of snacking on potato chips, try snacking on celery sticks. They are good for you and very low in calories. To keep from becoming bored of the taste of them, you can dip them in a low-calorie salad dressing.

Try to cut down on sugar and salt. Drinking unsweetened coffee and tea can help cut many calories from your diet. Neither of these flavor enhancers are good for you in high amounts and they will stop you from losing weight.

Following these simple tips can get you started on the road to weight loss. As long as you have the desire, and the knowledge you can lose weight and look stunning on the most important day of your life.
