Too often, we focus on our weight when we go on a diet. It’s typically about, “how much do I weigh?” But that focus on weight alone, or at all, may be unhealthy. According to Dr. Oz, in his book, YOU On A Diet, Dr. Oz gives a great guide for what to focus on when it comes to your weight. He calls it Waist Management. So we are going to be measuring the circumference of our waists. So go ahead and measure the circumference of your waist at the point of your belly button. Depending on how your weight is distributed, you may need to make an adjustment to where you place the tape.

And he said, that for optimum health, the ideal waist size for women is 32 1/2 inches, once you hit 37 inches, the dangers to your health increase. For men, the ideal is 35 inches and the dangers to your health increase once you hit 40 inches. to when you are at a safe weight, meaning a healthy promoting weight, not a height demoting one.

For men, if your waist is 35 inches or less you are safe. I sound like Ryan Seacrest on American Idol, don’t I?

For women, if your waist size is 32 1/2 inches or less, you are safe.

So go ahead, measure your waist, and don’t despair. I lost 10 inches off of my waist, while eating all day long, in 30 days, and I know you can too, so just measure what it is right now, and write it down somewhere for just you to see. Then as you use the ideas I present in other articles, you can check your progress with your waist.

Bob Krulish lost 20 pounds in 30 days and gained a ton of energy while eating all day long. He lost 10 inches around his waist in 5 short weeks and has the energy of a 6 year old all day long. And, he has a passion to share this information on how he did it and how you easily can too.
